William C. Krasner ( Principal Consultant)
Mr. Krasner has 32 Years of experience in
various facets of Emergency Medical Services and Medical Transportation. His
experience began with working for New York City EMS System. Mr. Krasner has
worked in a myriad of EMS environments, including volunteer, for-profit,
non-profit, fire department and hospital-based systems. His background includes
EMS education, quality improvement, system design, operations management,
financial management, information systems, human resource management and risk
management. Mr. Krasner has held senior leadership positions including assistant
chief of paramedic operations for the City of Philadelphia ALS program (EMS
Council), Vice President of Operations and CFO for US HealthTec, Inc., Division
Administrator for Trauma and Flight at the University of Pennsylvania Health
System and as Corporate Director for Medical Transportation Systems at the
University of Pennsylvania Health System. Mr. Krasner served as an Adjunct
Assistant Professor at Drexel University, teaching a variety of EMS leadership
courses, for over 15 years. Mr. Krasner is a registered nurse, registered
respiratory therapist, and EMT-paramedic (inactive) and holds an MBA in Health
Care Administration. Mr. Krasner currently is attending Law School part time and
expects to graduate in 2010. Mr. Krasner is an active member of the United
States Coast Guard Auxiliary and serves as a Coxswain in the Boat Crew Program.
